What Should I Pay Attention To When Operating And Storing The LCD Module?
Leave a message
The liquid crystal display module is very important to the current electronic industry and will be used in many places. Many electronic products will use this. Since it is so important, I believe you will also take good care of the operation and maintenance. However, everyone is very ignorant of these aspects. Today, the editor will explain to you the operation and storage of the LCD module. What should you pay attention to?
First of all, I will introduce a few related operating precautions:
1. The polarizer on the surface of the LCD module display screen is soft and easy to scratch. Please handle it carefully.
2. When using the mounting hole to install the LCD module, ensure that it is not twisted, bent or deformed. Deformation can have a significant impact on display quality.
3. When installing the LCD module, do not forcibly pull or bend the I/O leads or the backlight leads. Touching the TAB of the LCD module may cause abnormal display. Do not touch the TAB.
4. If the display screen is damaged and the internal liquid crystal leaks, do not let it enter the mouth. If it gets on clothes or skin, wash it off quickly with soap and water.
5. The display screen is made of glass, please do not apply mechanical shock, such as falling from a high place.
6. Do not apply excessive force to the display surface or the connection area of the LCD module, as this will cause the color tone to change.
7. If the power of the logic circuit is cut off, do not input a signal. In order to prevent electrostatic damage to the components, maintain a good working environment. Avoid opening the circuit, and be careful of the heat-sealing paper operation.
8. If the surface of the LCD module display is dirty, wipe it with a soft dry cloth. If it is severely stained, wipe it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (alcohol), dampened with a cloth. Other solvents may damage the polarizer, especially water, ketones, fragrances, etc.
After you have seen the things you should pay attention to in terms of operation, let’s take a look at the storage considerations:
-When storing the LCD module, avoid direct exposure to sunlight or fluorescent light. Store the LCD module in an anti-static bag, and store it at room temperature and humidity. (Avoid high humidity/high temperature and low temperature below 0℃.)
1. When handling the module, do not drop it on the ground.
2. Assembling tools, such as soldering irons, must be properly grounded.
3. The LCD module has a layer of film to protect the display screen. Be careful when removing this protective film, because static electricity may be generated.
4. In order to reduce the generation of static electricity, do not perform assembly and other work in a dry environment.
-Minimize electrode corrosion. Water droplets, moisture condensation, or current in a high-temperature environment may accelerate electrode corrosion.
