TN, HTN, STN, and FSTN are all types of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) technology. Each type differs depending on the type of display used and the way in which the screen is lit.
TN (Twisted Nematic) displays are the most commonly used LCD displays. FSTN (Film-compensated super-twisted nematic) displays are a type of STN display that includes a layer of film compensation to improve color contrast. They have excellent viewing angles and color reproduction, but their response times are slower than TN or HTN displays.
