What Is LCD?

Liquid crystal display is developed with liquid crystal materials. Liquid crystal display, commonly known as LCD (liquid crystal display) screen, is the main material of liquid crystal panel. The main principle of LCD is to stimulate liquid crystal molecules with current to produce points, lines and surfaces, which cooperate with the back lamp to form a picture. At present, common liquid crystal display devices include TN, STN, DSTN and TFT. The first three kinds of manufacturing principles are the same and become passive matrix liquid crystal, while TFT is more complex. Because it retains memory, it is called active matrix liquid crystal. Because liquid crystal display has the advantages of small space occupation, thin panel thickness, light weight, flat right angle display, low power consumption, no electromagnetic wave radiation, no thermal radiation and so on, Make it gradually replace the traditional CRT image tube display. Structurally, the LCD panel is mainly composed of four components:
