What Are The Characteristics Of The LCD Display Module
Leave a message
The LCD display module is a display using liquid crystal as the material. Liquid crystal is an organic compound between solid and liquid. It will become a transparent liquid when heated, and will become a crystalline turbid solid after cooling. Under the effect of the electric field, the arrangement of the liquid crystal molecules will change, which will then affect the change of light passing through it. The effect of this change of light passing through the polarizer can be expressed as a change in brightness and darkness. In this way, through the manipulation of the electric field, people finally manipulate the light and dark changes, and then reach the intention of showing the picture.
Compared with the traditional CRT, the LCD display module is not only small in size, thin in thickness, light in weight, low in energy consumption, low in operating voltage (1.5 to 6V), no radiation, no glare, and can be directly matched with CMOS integrated circuits.
(1) Thin body, saving space
Compared with the more bulky CRT display, the liquid crystal display only needs one-third of the space of the former.
(2) Power saving, no high temperature
It is a low-power-consumption product, which can achieve complete non-heating (the main power-consuming and heat-generating parts are in the backlight tube or LED), and the CRT monitor is inevitably high temperature due to the imaging technology.
(3) Low radiation, good health
The radiation of the liquid crystal display is much lower than that of the CRT display (only low, not completely without radiation, electronic products have radiation more or less), which is a good news for people who work in front of the computer all day.
(4) The picture is soft and does not hurt the eyes
Unlike the CRT technology, the LCD display screen does not shine, which can reduce the damage of the display to the eyes, and the eyes are not easy to get tired.
