Use only 2 PINS instead of 16 to connect your 1602 or 2004 LCD Display

Uses the I2C protocol - download the Arduino or Raspberry Pi library and save a lot of wiring!

The same 2 wires can control other modules too

A backlight jumper is not usually present - software control is more common - this varies from batch to batch:
Some displays have a non-functional jumper

Contrast adjustable with potentiometer
